Christchurch Training Camp 25th - 29th April 2018

ANZAC week saw the team meet in Christchurch for a five day training camp with Hayden Roulston.

The first three days rides were a mixture of flat and hilly terrain in dry conditions with a shingle climb and descent thrown in with Saturday and Sunday being wet and cold rides.

The first day, Wednesday 25th April, ANZAC day, saw 129.4km ridden in 4hrs 15m with 157m of climbing.

Thursday's riding was 162.6km in 6hrs 10m with 2,004m of climbing recorded.

On the Friday we completed 143.6km in 5hrs 00m after climbing 1,432m.

Consistent drizzle and rain on Saturday was a tour of the plains with 179.4km covered in 5hrs 39m and only 399m of climbing.

A very wet Sunday morning saw the group split and I completed 66.6km in 2hrs 14m with 101m of climbing.

By the end of Sunday over 700km of riding for the week had been completed and riders were all on target for France.

Full details of the routes ridden and hills climbed are on Strava.
